Selling All Remaining Assets of Tri-State Tire

ASSET DESCRIPTION: Emergency sell-off of all remaining assets of regional tire distributor. After 48 years, Tri-State Tire has closed the business and filed for bankruptcy protection. Over 5,000 tires remain! Tires for light truck and cars, SUV’s, off-road, commercial trucks, go kart, golf cart, ATV and other specialty vehicles. Additionally, there are four order pickers, intertubes, supplies, accessories, office furnishings and more.
Due to landlord restrictions we are not able to offer these assets in our tradtional online auction format. For this reason, we have elected to make these items available for purchase in a Sealed Bid Offerring. If you are already registered and participate in our auctions, the process will operate very similarly. If you have not participated in one of our auctions before, you’ll need to click on the “register to bid” button at the top of the page, register and then follow the instructions. PLEASE NOTE: Some of the storage rack areas are very dark. Please bring any necessary equipment that may help with your inspection, mainly a flashlight.

INSPECTION: It is STRONGLY advised to inspect the items, in person, during the inspection period in order to validate the descriptions and/or photographs in the catalog. Prospective participants will be able to inspect the assets on Friday, June 29th from 10 AM – 1 PM and Monday, July 3rd from 8 AM – 10 AM. TERMS: All items must be paid in full with cashier’s check, cash, check with bank letter of guarantee or wire transfer. Major credit cards are accepted but will include a 3% convenience fee at checkout. If your offer is accepted, you will receive a phone call shortly after the bid deadline to schedule your removal time and discuss payment. Payment will be accepted from 8 AM – 12 PM on July 5th at Tri-State Tire. Removal will be available starting Wednesday, July 5th. All items MUST be removed by 3 PM on Friday, July 7th.
REMOVAL: Once payment has been received, removal can begin on July 5th from 8 AM – 3 PM. All items must be removed no later than Friday, July 7th at 3 PM. Successful bidders are responsible for the removal of all purchased items. Successful bidders are required to provide necessary labor and equipment to ensure a safe and timely removal of all purchased items.
SALES TAX: Applicable sales tax will be added to all assets UNLESS proper tax exempt forms are provided with your payment, NO EXCEPTIONS.
BUYER’S PREMIUM: All items will be sold with a ten (10%) percent buyer’s premium fee added to the winning bid.
BUYER’S NOTE: All items are being sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” with no warranties expressed or implied. Buyers should carefully verify all items and make their own decision as to the accuracy thereof before relying on the same. Items may be added or deleted without notice.
